A chilly day, but under blue skies, 28 members & 2 guests set off on our first visit to Temple Golf Club. It seemed to comprise of some
"interesting" & unusual holes, much commented about. Overall the course seemed to satisfy most.
Some very popular winners here with a 3-way joint 1st on 36 points of Graham White, with John Humphries & John Foster just missing out
on countback.
Winning Guest was Ken Atkins. Runner up guest was Tony Boxall, who was so delighted he has joined The Priory.
Winning team was John Foster, Brian Mitchinson & Jon Paddon,
with Tony Robinson, Eric Saunders & Ken Atkins (G) as runners up.
Nearest the pins were Doug Wilson & Anant Suchak, with Tim O'Donovan nearest in 2 shots.
Regrettably, Bill Boniface has decided that new commitments mean he will not be able to play with the Priory as often as he would like.
Our loss Bill but I am sure everyone wishes you well in the new role of President at your club.
